Coaching with Emer Morris
Working in the creative, cultural, and third sectors can be inspiring, messy, exhausting, and full of contradictions — especially when you’re neurodivergent.
If you’re someone holding big ideas, creative projects, care work, or social change and navigating ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia (or just a brain that doesn’t quite fit the standard templates) — you’re not alone.
This is a space to figure out how to work in a way that fits your brain, your values, and your life.
What I Offer
I work with neurodivergent organisers, creatives, and third sector folk who are holding a lot — creative projects, care work, community organising, or social change work — while also navigating ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or just a brain that works differently.
This is for the people trying to make things happen in a world that isn’t set up for us. The ones who know the grind of burnout, the chaos of holding too much, and the push-pull of big ideas with limited capacity.
We don’t need more productivity hacks that promise to “fix” us. We need spaces to figure out what’s actually going on — what’s working, what’s not, and what might make things feel more possible.
This work is about building approaches that fit how we actually work, not how we’re told we should.

Who I Work With
I work with people who are:
- Neurodivergent (ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, or just “my brain does things differently”)
- LGBTQI+ folks navigating life and work in a world that wasn’t built for us
- Artists, freelancers, facilitators, producers
- Community and cultural organisers
- Care workers, mental health practitioners, activists, changemakers
- People trying to do a lot — and looking for a way that’s more sustainable, values-aligned, and real
My Approach
I create spaces that are nurturing, collaborative, and joyful. Because let’s be honest — we need more spaces where we can show up as we are, where we can breathe, reflect, and maybe even laugh at the chaos.
My approach is rooted in a mix of solid training, lived experience, and a lot of time spent figuring out how to make work work when your brain doesn’t fit the standard mould:

My approach is rooted in a mix of solid training, lived experience, and a lot of time spent figuring out how to make work work when your brain doesn’t fit the standard mould:
- 15+ years of coaching, mentoring, and leadership in arts, culture, and social justice spaces — I’ve supported people at all stages of their creative and community work, from project ideas to leadership development, always with an eye on sustainability and care.
- COSCA Certificate in Counselling & Therapy Skills (Strathclyde University) — I bring a strong grounding in listening, relational dynamics, and creating space for reflection and change.
- Barrett Coaching Training (dual-accredited by the Association for Coaching & Universal Coaching Alliance, completion Aug 2025)
- Currently Completing my Universal Coaching Alliance Foundation Associate Executive Coach Accreditation - Sept 2025
- Lived experience as a non-binary, AuDHD, dyslexic, dyspraxic cultural worker — I know how neurodivergence, creativity, and care work intersect, and how they shape the way we show up in the world.
