A Riot Act
 (Mums Go To Iceland)

Starring Tom Briscoe and Monique Geraghty
Written by Emer Mary Morris
Directed by Hannah Stephens and Emer Mary Morris

It’s the riots of summer 2014. Rioters and police clash on Lewisham High street: Molotovs from one side, tear gas from the other. A police woman, new to the job, is split from her team and blinded by tear gas. Taking cover in a deserted Iceland supermarket, with her radio broken, she realises she’s alone in a war zone. Then someone else enters the shop. What follows is high tension drama between two people who think they inhabit very different worlds.

Performances February 2014.
